Serving families in Greensburg and Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, we are committed to nurturing personal growth, meaningful performance experiences, and lasting friendships through the art of dance.
Founded by Sandra Lynn Donatelli, Sandra Lynn’s School of Dance has been a cornerstone of the Western Pennsylvania arts community for more than five decades. What began as a single studio has grown into a place where generations of dancers have trained, performed, and formed lasting connections. Shaping not only skilled dancers, but confident individuals through a shared love of dance.
Our staff is a team of experienced and passionate dance professionals who are deeply invested in both the artistic and personal growth of every student. Working collaboratively, our instructors create a supportive, encouraging environment where dancers are challenged, celebrated, and guided toward their individual goals.
We offer a range of thoughtfully designed programs for dancers of all ages and experience levels, from recreational classes to competitive and performance-based training. Each program is structured to support steady growth, build confidence, and help dancers reach their individual goals.

Sandra Donetelli is on the Greensburg Area Cultural Council, Oakmont Chamber of Commerce, and is a 57-year member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania and America. Sandra has trained students who have received awards and titles all across the world and are currently pursuing a career in dance.

Kim Stewart is a mother of two from Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. She attended Indiana University and Point Park University for a degree in Mathematics and dance training. Kim is a member of Dance Masters of PA and America. She received her certification through Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School. Kim choreographed with lo
Kim Stewart is a mother of two from Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. She attended Indiana University and Point Park University for a degree in Mathematics and dance training. Kim is a member of Dance Masters of PA and America. She received her certification through Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School. Kim choreographed with local school districts show choirs and musicals for 15 years. While teaching at Sandra Lynns for over 31 years she received her certification for Aerial Yoga in 2015. She received training from Gymboree and Kindermusik to work with newborn to 6 year olds in 2003. Owner of Gymboree and Kindermusik from 2003-2009. To continue her teacher training she teaches skiing at Tiny Tots at Seven Springs Ski Resort. She received her Level 1 certification and Children Specialist certification while working for Seven Springs. Kim enjoys working with the dancers at Sandra Lynns and taking them to competitions and workshops as the company director.

With a strong background in strategy and operations, Chrissy brings years of professional leadership experience to the studio environment. She is currently serving as the Director of Strategy Operations for OneHope and the Director of Operations for the Bob & Hazel Hoskins School of Mission at Southeastern University. As an adjunct instructor at Waynesburg University and a dedicated Girl Scout troop leader, Chrissy is deeply passionate about mentoring the next generation and creating spaces where children and youth can thrive. Chrissy is a former competitive cheer coach and proud dance mom. She understands the dedication, discipline, and joy that comes with youth performance arts and is committed to encouraging every dancer to shine. She is a proud momma and loves spending time with her family! She is ready to meet all of you and help you grow as you journey through life as a dancer!

Avery Schaeffer brings nearly two decades of dance experience, with extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acro, musical theater, and hip hop. She began her dance journey at Sandra Lynn’s School of Dance under the instruction of Sandra Donatelli and Kim Stewart, where she was a core member of the studio’s competit
Avery Schaeffer brings nearly two decades of dance experience, with extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, acro, musical theater, and hip hop. She began her dance journey at Sandra Lynn’s School of Dance under the instruction of Sandra Donatelli and Kim Stewart, where she was a core member of the studio’s competitive team. Her commitment to excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including being named a national semi-finalist for both Teen and Junior Dancer of the Year at the prestigious Celebration Talent National Dance Competition in Wisconsin Dells.
In addition to her technical training and performance experience, Avery has developed a strong passion for choreography and leadership. She currently attends Slippery Rock University, where she is pursuing a degree in Strategic Communication & Digital Media, and minoring Dance Pedagogy. She serves as lead choreographer for the university’s Musical Theatre Society and has performed in multiple musical productions with Stage Right, including The King and I, Once on This Island, A Christmas Carol, Annie, and Frozen Jr. As a proud alumna of Sandra Lynn’s School of Dance, Avery is thrilled to return to the studio as Company Director and Instructor. She is passionate about helping her students grow as dancers and performers, and finds joy in the creative process, turning ideas into inspiring routines that showcase each dancer’s unique potential.

Miss Leslie is our Ballet technique instructor & we are blessed to have her going on 40 years! She attended Point Park College, trained at The French Ballet School under Germaine and Roger Pacaud of the Paris Opera & performed in the Nutcracker with the Golden State Ballet. Miss Leslie resides in Vandergrift & enjoys spending time with her grandsons, Rocco & Vinny.

Holly Williams has been dancing since 1984, and teaching since 1994. She has completed three years of Dance Masters of America Teachers training school, held at Buffalo University. She has choreographed 8 high school musicals and aides in many others. Holly was a Pitt Cheerleader from 2002-2003 and has done choreography for Oil City Cheer

She has choreographed 8 high school musicals and aides in many others. Holly was a Pitt Cheerleader from 2002-2003 and has done choreography for Oil City Cheer, landing them a 1st place prize. She has held roles in musical theater performances, such as "Texas" in Cabaret; Apple Hill Playhouse, "Gypsy Twin" in Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, dancer/acrobat and "King Dog" in The King and I; New Kensington Civic Theater, and was a part of the Pitt Dance Association and The Cultural Arts at The Univeristy of Pitt from 2001-2003. Holly is trained in Modern, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, West African, and Afro Caribbean Culture and Dance. Dance has always been a huge part of her life through the years, and uses dance to help her through anything life hands her!


Our studio features four spacious, professionally equipped dance studios with state-of-the-art flooring and ballet barres, creating a safe and supportive environment for dancers of all ages. Families can relax in our cozy lounge with real-time class viewing, or gather in our kitchen-style space, perfect for snacks, conversation, and downtime between classes.










Our Vandergrift location offers three spacious studios equipped with mirrors and ballet barres, providing a comfortable and inspiring space for dancers to learn and grow. Families and dancers alike can enjoy our welcoming waiting areas, making it easy to relax, connect, and prepare for class.



At Sandra Lynn’s School of Dance, we believe in using our gifts to spread joy and connect with others. Throughout the year, our dancers have the opportunity to perform at a variety of community events.
